Chitterne Village Hall is managed by a management committee, and is let to others under the following conditions.
|   | 1 | . | The hirer accepts full responsibility for the good order and security of the building during the period of hire, or any extension. |
|   | 2 | . | The hirer shall not share the use of any part of the building without the agreement of the management committee. |
|   | 3 | . | The hirer shall vacate the building at the end of the agreed period and shall remove all property and, particularly in the case of jumble sales and similar events, all unsold goods and refuse. |
|   | 4 | . | At the end of the period of hire, all windows must be securely closed, all lights turned off and exit doors locked. |
|   | 5 | . | The room must be cleaned after use with the equipment provided in the cupboard in the cloakroom for the disabled (centre lavatory), and all rubbish removed. |
|   | 6 | . | All tables cleaned and replaced, and chairs stacked in the cupboard in the main hall. |
|   | 7 | . | Bookings can only be confirmed up to six months in advance. The management committee reserves the right to charge up to the full letting fee if a booking is cancelled less than one month in advance. |
|   | 8 | . | All breakages should be reported when the key is returned. |
|   | 9 | . | The management committee reserves the right to claim costs in respect of breakages and cleaning if the Hall is not left in a suitable condition. |
| 1 | 0 | . | If Village Hall tea towels are used, please wash, iron and return them within 5 days. |
| 1 | 1 | . | The insurance of the building does not extend to the property of the hirer or any third party for which the hirer will be responsible. |
